    Aha! I put the F/T mouse in his cage around 6 and left it there and I just walked in there a few minutes ago and it was gone!

    I just read another post that you do not have a heating element. How do you expect him to digest his food without heat? Just curious.

    Actually, as of this morning I did not. But I set a different shaped reading lamp under his cage and I have a inside/outside thermometer with the inside on the hot side and outside on the cool side. I had been experimenting since 8 oclock this morning with different angles and distances and it has been consistantly 90/84 for the past 4 hours. I plan on keeping a close eye on it until my heat pad and thermostat arrive but he seems fairly comfortable. He was just out drinking from his water a while ago with a big ol' hopper in his belly.
