    Well, despite what others are saying, I think those are some pretty cool snakes.

    A great thank you to all who gave positive comments. The snakes i caught were on perfectly legal land i was not poaching, for example Florida Water Management Areas are illegal to catch and keep snakes, so is a lot of the everglades but where i go i have a friend who lives right down the road and there is a marsh near by and we ride our quads along the gravel roads at dusk and 2-3 hours after sunset and find snakes all the time. Its not like im hording masses of wild caught snakes.
    If i happen to find a wild snake that is a good candidate for a tame pet, then yeah i might keep it and see if it will adapt to being in captivity. Such as i did with the newly born water snakes, they haven't been in the wild for long. Plus the other 9 of the water snakes i let go.

    To you DutchHerp, Can you read? I didn't see anything in there about taking anything from a national park.... So read on.... :snake: We're all on here because we're all liking the herpes, please read all the posts before you reply. Makes this much better for all of us, thanx....:rolleye2:
