Re: Super Dwarfs, A question
Thanks everyone. :P I do plan on doing a ton of research and if I can find someone nearby with super dwarfs or dwarfs, I want to get some hands on experience first before buying one. Even still, this would definitely be something we get a few years from now. I'm just information hunting. I had thought super dwarfs still got huge.
Re: Super Dwarfs, A question
Id think locality rather than use the generic term superdwarf. Go for a Madu, Kalatoa or Kayaudi male if you want something small. I'd also enquire about the size of the parents. :gj:

The locality of true superdwarfs is pretty highly guarded.
So they are just sold as superdwarfs, madu, Kalatoa, and Kayaudi island retics, all get much larger than true SDs.
Re: Super Dwarfs, A question
word around the block is that http://www.royalconstrictordesigns.com/ has top of the line SD tics :P
I have only heard good things about Garrick!
Good animals at great prices!
Edit: I looked and as or right now he is out of regular sd tics
Re: Super Dwarfs, A question
Garrick has good SD's...Give Greg Bryant at The Retic Ranch a call, he has good SD's and other tics for you to choose from...Bob Clark carries SD's also...Those would be my first choices for picking one up from or picking their brains...
Re: Super Dwarfs, A question
I just aquired a super-dwarf Retic as part of a trade for some items I was selling...and when I first saw the hatchlings, I also got to meet their parents. Holy crap, they are so tiny compared to a normal Retic! Heck, they make some BOAS look like monsters. :) I adore the look of the Retic but not the size, lol. SDs are just about perfect.
And I am now struggling to name my wonderful, charming, delightful and rather nippy little female SD Retic. :) She's awesome!!!
