Yes, it is a little bit flat on the top. Remember though, that it is sitting in an area between two other eggs. It has a little room on the bottom that we cannot see. I think it will be fine, as you say that it still candles well.

hmmm im still slightly worried the humidity has been kept between 75 and 80% since i am letting her incubate them she leaves them here aand there goes through the water bowl on her way back and re wraps so idk

I think it will be fine. :) It's a bit squished but there's still plenty of room for the baby inside.

I maternally incubated as well and my eggs went through different stages of squishing although I didn't get a "wedge" like yours. My eggs are flattened like yours not like the plump white eggs I see in incubator pictures.
I have to say, one pro for aritificial incubation is the eggs are prettier.

ok figured i'd update every one Lucy lain her eggs on the 27th of june i candled them last night took pics with my phone sorry if they aren't so good but even squish who is flatter than before is candling well still sigh i will definately keep that little one for myself. and i am still waiting on kona to lay sigh the wait is killin me!

oh and one of the eggs is dark when candling more than 2/3 of the way anyone know what this could mean? it has great veins just seems to be fuller?
