I remember reading here just recently that someone whose hatchling didn't get the needed yolk was fed on some chicken egg yolk and it helped, so that might be another option to consider.

She really is just a lovely little creature, so like her daddy. I hope she pulls through for you. :strong:

I've heard that too, but I also remember reading at least one story in which the egg yolk-fed hatchling died shortly after. It wasn't clear that the egg yolk had anything to do with it--obviously the hatchling was on the edge already--but the snake died with a rock-hard belly. So I guess I'd advocate going straight to pinkie mice?

I don't think donuts on the back are unusual, but I've certainly never seen so many in a row like that. She's a beauty.

well i just got home from work and she is still alive but it doesn't look good. She is VERY weak. Her body is pretty limp but is moving some in a jerking motion. I think she is simply starving to death. I just put a dead pinky in her mouth and am now waiting to see if she even has enough energy to swallow. if not I will try to work it down to the stomach myself.

This is pretty much a last ditch effort. death seems imminent.

Nope, obviously not enough energy to swallow. I just carefully worked two tiny ASF pinkies down to her belly. She is still breathing, but thats about it.

At least I can take comfort in knowing I did everything I could.

Her name by the way is Cheerio. get it? "Cinnamon Cheerios" (she is a cinny, and the ringers look like cheerios)

    Good night sweet Cheerio.
