    See, now we all see it.

    The biggest issue was that the shadowing looked green, like fresh water often does. My guess is that parabola I was seeing is some kind of line over the wall, and the illuminated cracks/notches in the wall looked like roads/white banks.

    I was, took a long time of analyzing it before I noticed there was no reflection, waves or anything on the wall, then started to pay attention to the top and wanted to know why the foreground looked painted/wrong.
