Yup... I've only been tagged 3 times in total, and 2 of them were from snakes in shed (the other was a nervous baby). So definitely be careful during their "opaque" stage, as many of them will strike in fear during that time - they feel quite vulnerable, which is understandable considering their vision is impaired. :cool:

I was going to mention this, how feeding outside of the cage won't necessarily help. In fact, I think it would make things worse... as you'd be handling them while in feeding mode, which could make a BP either nervous/bitey or too shy to eat. Separate feeding tubs are recommended for some snakes (Burmese and Retics, perhaps?), but for a BP I personally think it's better to feed in-cage. I feed my entire collection of 21 in their tubs, and have yet to receive a feeding bite. :gj:
