    I was just referring to sales at shows to Joeblow the general customer, and online sales. It just seems that the standard for well started cb hatchlings is falling based on getting the sales as quickly as they can. Which to me is sad.

    I knew what you was saying in your first post and I agree with you. So many vendors at shows will sell a hatchling to someone new to balls and knowing the hatchling has never ate. These new owners are lucky for forums like this one that gives them the best shot with their new hatchling.

    Three good consecutive feedings. I feel confident at that point that the animal is going to continue to feed on its own properly.

    In most cases, they're going to get considerably more than 3 feedings because they rarely sell immediately.
