    Thank you! He has always been that bright yellow color. I love it :]

    I didn't take the shed off his tail because I was gnna let it just come off on its own. Last time I helped take it off, it bled a little so i decided not to do that this time.

    As far as the humidity. I kept it near 80 during the shed process. So I don't think it was a humidity problem. Even right now it is about 70%

    At first I thought it was stuck shed but then i took a closer look and it isn't. Its not something you can take off. I think like someone said somehow the outer layer, the shiny part of the scale was rubbed raw.

    I think he may have rubbed too hard against his hide. But i am not certain.

    Go ahead and get that shed off the tail - you don't want it constricting blood flow down there.

    And those dull scales will go away with the next shed - it just happens from time to time, and has nothing to do with how he rubbed off his shed.
