    Re: 2200ish gram female...Question...
A local breeder offered to sell me one of his normal females, an 06 proven 3200 gram girl. He said last time she produced 6 eggs and has never produced more then 8. He also says the eggs are usually much bigger then his other females. I am still trying to decide if I want her or just to go with another female that is in the 1500-2000g range. I too am breeding for the first time and have been reading everything I can. I feel I am prepared and it seems that the size of females above 1500 grams or so doesn't matter on how many eggs they will produce, but it does for the size/weight of the eggs.

My 2200 gram girl dropped 6 90+ gram eggs
Last year same thing with my other 2400 gram girl, 6 fairly large eggs.

Cool, thanks guys. Yeah, I'm not really to worried about how many I get. As long as they are healthy and the mother is healthy, I'm happy. This breeding attempt is gonna be a "trial breeding", I have (what I think) enough knowledge in pretty much all the different aspects of ball pythons, but like someone said a few comments ago "Expect the UNexpected". I'm just happy my plan to breed in a few years is actually gonna be alot sooner then I planned!!..

    Thanks guys.

Good luck to you rj1204 in your breeding attempts also.
