50% get Albino from the mom
100% get Albino from the dad

    100%*50%=50% Full albinos (both genes)
the other 50% dont get Albino from the mother and are thus Het for Albino from the father (and it's not possible but definite het, also called 100% het)

One of the biggest issues I see with using percentages for the possibility of having het individuals is that they're also used to show how many offspring will be one thing or another, which kind of throws it off

There is a genetics guide: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=52847

if u buy a albino and an albino het, and u breed them, the half of that litter should be albinos. the rest are normals that are 100% het fro albino

when u buy 1.1 het albinos and breed them, u get 1/4 albinos 2/4 het albinos and 1/4 normal. but since u cant tell which is the het and which not, u sell these animals as 66% het.

    albino is a recessiv gene

Sorry for the confusion. IF you breed a 100% het Ghost to a Bee, the reason you get 50% Possible hets instead of visials is because the Bee does not carry the Ghost gene. If the bee were het ghost, you would have a 1 in 4 chance of every egg having the Ghost gene.
