I think my ball hissed at me!

since its a bluff most of the time.... lets just say you snake is saying hello :p

Most of the pythons will do this, if its upon the initial picking up of we like to think of it as an " oh man" you gonna pick me up again exhale and not a hiss,
Of course if it continues then its a hiss..:snake:

Mine seem to always do it right before they go into shed. I always think it is because it is uncomfortable for them to be touched at this time.

I have only had my two male BPs hiss at me. Who knows what is up with them! The older of the two has grown out of it but my little mojave will give me a quick "tssss" if I surprise him.
