Kingsnake not eating.

    He had been pounding 2 a week up until he stopped..

    I use a digital thermometer and scan frequently inside all his hides and all over his cage.

    I covered the entire front of his glass tonight with trash bags and bumped the thermostat up two degrees.


    My camera isn't good but I'll try to get some pics.

    I have a pretty young milk snake. To feed here I put her and the prey (two pinkies) into a smaller cage so that she can not evade and ignore the prey. Usually she will eat one pinkie soon and the other pinkie later.

    Well now that my pastel is in a rack system, I am gonna move my kingsnake to the top cage. My thinking is maybe he doesn't feel safe. Even though his front glass is covered the cats often sleep right outside his cage.


    It makes no sense though because he at like a champ for a month and a half with no change in condition except for maybe the fact that I cleaned the cage.

    He shed right before going on a hunger strike to so...I doubt thats it.
