Yeah Thats my thinking of it. I just went and checked... 75.5-75.9 as the reading i got throughout the room and closet. Plus im sure with the door pretty much closed the heat from the UTH's will raise the temp in the room some too bringing everything up to what should be acceptable temps.

When you are using an UTH i believe you are dependant on room temp to get yoru ambient temps correct.
My 28qt setup with a UTH in a 75 degree room will have an ambient temp of 76 at best.

If I don't keep the temps up at 78 my cool end ambient won't stay ot or over 78.

LOL, how did a 3.5 ft. X 3.5 ft. closet suddenly become a room? That's still barely a closet.
Regardless of the size of the closet you're housing your stuff in, you need an ambient air temp that will facilitate the thermostat in obtaining the proper temps in the bins. ANY thermostat can only increase the temp of a hot spot roughly 20 degrees above the ambient air temps, and even then, it's working at maximum capacity. Your room will need to be at LEAST 75.

haha i know its not a room. LEts call it the extremly small snake closet :) Anyway I completely understand what you are saying. My home is always 75 and the room im keeping them in is normaly 78 if i dont run a fan. So the closet should work none the less. Time will tell if i try to use it or not.
