Me too. Just did it yesterday...Scolding hot water, thaws like a charm, and honestly I don't think the snake knows the diffrence. I put mine story in the QT room, FYI.

Just some fun anecdotal evidence here... The scalding hot water actually may start to cook the rodent, and weaken the body wall in the abdomen. The water logging only exacerbates that.
I did feed F/T by defrosting in hot water, but I had a lot of rodents burst on impact (if you know what i mean :/ ) and i dont like cleaning up rat guts. eww. lol.

That's not because of the hot water. It's about your rodent suppliers rat quality.
I've easily defrosted 25,000 rats that way and never has one exploded, or imploded, or "popped".
