I agree something has to be wrong for her not to be able to use her tongue however, it does not seem to be interfering with anything. She ate another crawler rat today and I checked out her mouth while she was eating it and still no signs of mouth rot, and RI or anything.
Since she is eating, active and besides not using her tongue seems to be normal I'm just going to keep and eye on her and see if anything changes.

Actually BP's also smell with their nose just like you and I. The reason they also use their tongue and a Jacob's organ is because unlike you and me BP's can't sniff.
They smell the air that passes through their nose as they breath, and use their tongue to pinpoint smells and it is much more sensitive and they can use it on demand.
So while she has lost a big part of her smell she has not lost all of it.
