Totally agree! I want one so bad, cresties are awesome too but never compare to the looks of a gargoyle! A little time line of care, and it's really this easy to start!

K so with my cresty I have her in a 20 gallon tank, I spray her everyday(30seconds) I feed her crested gecko diet every second day(Leave it in for 2 days, takes about 5 minutes to clean the dish and make the food)
and I clean the cage once a week(hot water and diluted vinegar in the shower)(about 10 minutes?) There isn't an easier lizard out there, I swear! Gargs are the same pretty much, only cooler looking in my opinion! ~Caylan.S.~

Id say you get her a wild caught cocodile monitor :taz: theyr gentle giants :rolleye2: ..... no really though Id say since its for a girl cresteds are pretty cool, they got little eye lashes she might find cute and have a nice velvet like feeling to their skin :P. Very easy to take care of aswell.

A leopard gecko would make a great pet. No special lighting, not that many bugs, and they do not get huge.

Though I agree, she should not get a beardie. They do need pretty big cages fully grown, and eat thousands of bugs a month.
