Kinda more like a pastel boa, just a selectively bred trait that may show up in the offspring. Much higher chance of getting a yellow normal when breeding a yellow normal. Of course this may not always be the case, and I've seen some nice normals come out of rather ordinary parents. It's more or less random, but it can be worked with to an extant I think.
