I saw one of these very ads last night as I was browsing breeder pages. EDIT: This pages doesn't make claims that the pattern comes from the lesser lineage, but mentions the snake as a "lesser sibling normal".

I'm not making a judgement about this breeder or his/her page. Just sharing an observation on topic with this thread.

I've read somewhere, that if you bread a lesser platinum, with a lesser sibling, there would come out a platty, so maybe there is some HG which brings back the platty...
Very confusing,...

I believe the "hidden gene" came from a normal that introduced it to the lesser.
A lesser is a lesser :)

Yea, thats what I'm guessing hers looks like. You can tell by the pattern that they have some lesser in them. Its to bad they can't be hets. =(
I could get a Possible het Albino for $30.
Or a Normal with Lesser in him for $25
Or just a straight up normal for $20

No such thing as "having lesser in him".
He's either a lesser or a normal :P
Buy the one that you visually like the most.
Pos hets are normals unless you plan to "someday" breed it to a visual to prove it out, just make sure it comes from a respected source.

Re: Morphs...
the hidden gene comes from the Platinum, not the lesser platinum. (aka lesser).
Breed platinum to a normal female you get lessers and normal looking offspring carrying a hidden gene.
Breed the lesser to one of the siblings from that pairing and you can get platinums. or Platty daddys as ralph calls them.
Lessers do not carry that gene without expressing it, so if its got the second gene its a platinum.

So, its somehow like het for platinum? Not in the genetical correct way, but a kind of, isn't it?

Re: Morphs...
Hi,
I think it is more like the "lesser sibs" are het for platinum daddy gene - the lessers in the clutch are simply that - lessers.
