mine is an adult ball.. im afraid mice is too small for her.. rats is hard to find in my city.. currently i do not use any heat.. juz some natural sunlight..

the exact temp in thecage is 29 degree C. i did not use any heat.. my city do not have any herp vet.

btw, can i use basking lamp for them? the only avaible heat souce i can find is basking lamp..

You could feed multiple mice (2-3 per week)

You could use a basking lamp but keep in mind that it will lower the humidity. Just make sure you have a good digital thermometer to read the temps so you don't over heat your animal.

Belly heat would be preferable though. Could you order a UTH online?

Well, that gerbil tail thing is just weird.

I recommend Flexwatt from http://www.reptilebasics.com/. Get something that will cover 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottom of the enclosure (probably 1' of 11"). Also get the $5 clips and ask them to attach them for you. Tape it on to the bottom of the enclosure and plug it into a THERMOSTAT (very important). This is what I'd recommend. Put the probe between the UTH (yes, under tank heater) and enclosure and use a digital thermometer with a probe placed inside on the glass directly above the UTH to set the thermostat temp.

I guess recommendations change depending on your location, but that's the general setup.

You really need to find a vet even if it means several hours driving. It's better than nothing in an emergency.

I'm sorry I am not very familiar with companies that will ship overseas. Where are you located in Asia? I am assuming your power outlets over there are different then ones over here so ordering a heat mat from the US would be rather useless.

Do any of the petstores over there have websites that carry the under tank heaters (UTH)?

the only way i can think of now is to do a DIY UTH with the use of Submersible Aquarium Heater. but im still figuring out how it can be done..

If you have access to 110v electric then I am pretty sure Amamzon ships anywhere in the world. If you do not have access to the 110v electric I would search for a converter that can be used with the heater & thermostat you need to give your snake the belly heat that is needed. I was feeding my snakes mice & as long as yours eats them he'll do fine on mice. You can try more than 1 mouse if still hungry or even more often.

I find $500 shipping to any country a little hard to believe. I live on the east coast of the U.S. & have ordered items on ebay that were shipped from Hong Kong for under $10. :hmm:
