    I've had that happen twice, most recently just a few days ago. Julius ate one mouse, and then constricted a second one that I assumed was eaten... the following day I opened his tub to check on a shed, and OMG it smelled like death!! :puke: I pulled up his hide, and he was tightly curled around the uneaten dead mouse. It was a seriously awful smell, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened to the OP.
