    I would not soak before the shed. Apparently the chlorine in tap water can leech the natural oils from his skin and cause a bad shed.

    I use distilled baby water for all my animals, our water here has alot of chlorine, I dont even drink it because it smells like bleach....kinda nasty, and it leaves alot of residue glass surfaces, my bathroom mirror is a pain to keep clean.

    Is distilled water ok or would I be better off filtering my tap water ? There is another kind of water I can buy in gallon jugs but I cant think of what its called, lol.

    purified, probably stay away from spring imo. Distilled should be fine.
