Congratulations! I know it's very exciting to get your first ball python, but it's important that you not handle her for a least a week, and preferably until after she's successfully fed at least once for you - to give her a chance to acclimate.

When you feel tempted to handle her, remind yourself that you will have 20-30 years of handling her ahead of you. :D

hahaha thanks everyone... yeah i'm so excited with it! i will be feeding him on Wednesday for the first time since i got it Friday, and according to petsmart they just fed him that day. anyway, i think my snake is showing signs of hunger now since he keeps on roaming around the enclosure specially at night.. and he sticks his head out on his hide. :)
