    USA - England, 1 - 1

But. It was actually 0 - 1 with a freebie. Lucky.

Donovan was a non-factor. I sometimes forgot he was playing. But then, so was Rooney. Hopefully things get better!

Heh, yeah it's those "freebies" and lucky shots that World Cups are won with though. Not that I'm saying USA has the capability to win (this year :-P maybe ten years from now), but lets not forget the circumstances surrounding England's own world cup win AND the infamous "Man de Dios" courtesy of Maradona.

Honestly during the first half it was a little painful to watch them play. They were being out classed every step of the way I think by the English squad, BUT things became a bit less gruesome during the 2nd half.

I love the world cup! I got hooked ever since my dad took me to a world cup game when the cup was in the US in '94 (saw Romania play Nigeria).

The US had a nice start! A little luck was involved, but I'll take it.

I'm still rooting for England. Somethings ya just can't leave behind. Maybe USA will finally win a world cup game though
