    Depends on your temperatures. What does your hot and cool side read and how are you measuring them?

    I live in Florida and had a heat lamp and uth and had to take the lamp off after purchasing a temp gun I realized it was heating my tank up beyond temps it should be at! I would get a temp gun and than adjust accordingly my thermostat in the tank said 90 but the hid was at 100!!! I about flipped!! Luckily my BP was on the cool side!! The temp gun saved my BP life!!
