    So, Justin, I see you've got one of the het pieds listed as YB het pied, and one listed as YB gene X het pied. How'd you tell the difference? Got any comparison pics?

    GeneX is the new gene I'm working with that seems to be the highlighter gene in the Pumpkin Pied. Identifying them in the YB's is not an exact science yet, but the GeneX YB het pieds seem to have bigger flames heavier belly markings than the typical YB het Pied. A lot more breeding is needed to nail it all down officially. ;)

    The Gene X stuff I have here, appears to throw a lot more random markings on to the YellowBellies, loops and blobs all over the place. And as you've mentioned the Belly tends to have heavy edging as opposed to a traditional checkerboard.
