There's not much building required. All you really have to do is drill a few holes in the side of a fridge for the t-stat probe and the wire for the flexwatt. After that it's just taping the flexwatt on and plug it in.
I do understand wanting something ready to go, just plug and play more or less.
Whatever you decide remember you get what you pay for.
Good luck,
Gavin

I know many are tired of hearing it but DIY is cheaper and you can build bigger for cheaper. Think ahead always
May think ehh one clutch this year but your hooked once they hatch and you want MORE next year. Go to craigslist and search hard in the appliance free section for ppl throwing fridges away. ADD some flexwatt, herpstat and some fans and DONE and your still under 150$.

Great! We almost bought the same incubator at a reptile show for $125 used. I love the idea of DIY out of an old refrigerator. I scanned craigslist but didn't see anything real cheap that was close so I am going to call around to the local apartment complexes and see if I can get one of the ones they replace. There are several complexes in the area and they would probably be willing to give it away free to avoid the cost of disposing of them. :)
Re: Accu-Temp 6000 Reptile Incubator - Digital Reptile Incubator
I just received the LLL Reptile's Pro MR 148 incubator which is exactly the same thing as the accu-temp 6000 last Tuesday. As soon as I plugged it in the interior light blew out. LLL Reptile offered to replace it but I would have to send it back and then they would send me a new one which would take about 2 weeks and I payed 70 bucks to have it over nighted to me because I need it in a couple of days and they refused to ship it back the same way, I refused to do that so they gave me that one at a discounted price. Its been running since last Tues and holds temps very well not even a degree off between the top and middle shelf, however between the top and bottom there is about a 5 degree difference and even between the middle shelf and bottom there is about a 3 degree difference which I am not very happy with, it is also a tad small.
