Mike; I kid you not. It was my first season back in 2003, and I was a stressed out, newbie breeder. It was a male pastel het albino. I have since mellowed out. Too many breeders worry that their animals haven't eaten after a week, so they get worried and jump the gun.
I would say that 60% of all my hatchlings eat their first offered meal (live mouse hopper) 25% prefer a live rat fuzzy, and the remainder will go right onto f/t rats out of the egg.
