Re: New female pythons name?
Welcome to the site! If you have any questions, feel free to ask anyone.
I can't tell you an exact name, but I can give you an idea of how to come up with a name. My bp, Abuja, got his name because there's a tribe in Nigeria that considers ball pythons sacred, so Abuja is the capital of Nigeria.
Think about some of her characteristics. My cat is named Dizzy, and that name fits her well. If your snake is sluggish, how bout Sloth? Hope I helped you!
Re: New female pythons name?
How about Engel. It's the German spelling of Angel. That’s what I just named my Antaresia Childreni (Childrens python). That came from her near death experience from a shipping mishap.
And congrats on the new Snakers.:D
Re: New female pythons name?
Sorry, I'm no good with single names much easier for me to find names for a group of animals.
What we do is we find a theme and name them accordingly example: if the theme is train it would go something like this, Crazytrain, Runawaytrain, VIA, Rails, Pacific, Bullet.
If the theme was natural disasters it would go like this, Quake, Erupt, Cyclone, Lahar, Tsunami, Tidal, Lava.
If it where space, it would be named after planets so on and so forth...
For a single female name, I've always liked the name Destiny.
Re: New female pythons name?
I use constellations for most of my creepy crawlies, but my newest little bp is going to be named something that follows his attitude, just because he's a pain in the bottom. :)
There's a website I found that's got a list of snake names, and most of them are actually pretty clever.
