yep, also in an interview cory and clown both made it clear if one member quits or dies, slipknot would be no more, so this is very owful, the rev, Dio, and Paul

The band or record label hasn't released any statement as of yet. Paul was a founding member of Slipknot. I wouldn't be surprised if they called it quits.

Just in case anyone who is interested hasn't seen it...

Slipknot held a press conference last night. They all took off their masks to talk about Paul, and his wife was there. A few members didn't speak, but the ones that did brought tears to my eyes.
