    This is what I've learned

Young BP's are like little kids, they eat often and grow fast.

I try to feed every 4-5 days or so on very young BPs, usualy that means under 500-600g. I said try to because it's easier when you breed your on feeders which I dont do at the moment, but I have before.

When BPs get to 500g you have to be careful if they are males. That usually means putting them on a 7 day schedule. Males seem to stop growing fast at some point around 500g, if you keep feeding them every 4-5 days they will go off-feed at some point.

Females are another story because they keep growing fast for longer. I keep them on every 4-5 days until they start to refuse meals. That is when you know you have to put them in a 7 days schedule. My spider still eats every 4-5 days and she is 650g.

If you are feeding every 4-5 days, then feed a bit smaller meals than you would with a 7 day schedule. Growing fast and getting Fat are two different things.

This is MY experience feeding BPs so far.

thanks a lot guys for the advice. unfortunately i cant tell u how old she is cuz i dont know but people ive asked guessed between a year or year and a half. i dont have a scale but i know i need one so i will pick one up this weekend and weigh her. the only thing i can tell u i that shes 22 inches long, which doesnt really say much lol. all i know is she has a great appetite and im really not looking forward to stressing out over the months of her not wanting to as ive read about so many times on this forum lol. thanks again guys i really appreciate all ur advice. as for the rats..... i was told to wait untill she gets a little bigger and then switch her to small rats so thats what im goin to do unless i get some different advice from u guys... thanks again :gj:
