Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
Oh, crap. I didn't read the label right I guess. Here is a link to what it is. I thought I had linked it in my first post. I read the label thinking it was just one pill... Turns out it's two. So 290 MG of caffeine in 2 capsules. It's 145 MG in one capsule.
The bottle actually says to take 4 a day! I decided just by what I was taking with the sample packets to cut it in half. When I take the cellucor, I don't take the fat burner. Just the cellucor. The reason I was taking it was our friend gave us a few sample packets... I figured I don't have anything to lose, so I tried it.
I didn't think it was alot considering they recommend to take 4 a day!
Here is what the bottle says:
Directions For Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock: As a dietary supplement for adults, for the first three days, we advise taking half a serving (1 capsule) twice daily to test for personal tolerance levels. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration. Use for up to 8 weeks in a cycle, then discontinue use for 2 weeks before beginning a new cycle.
MORNING: Take 2 capsules
MID-AFTERNOON: Take 2 capsules
Keep the opinions coming... My BF and I are really not so sure about this stuff. He would like to to find a good appetite suppressant without any caffeine. That's all I would want.

Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
I personally would not take more then 2 pills of the caffeine, but everyone responds differently to stims.
The cellucore products seems to have good reviews so stick with it and see how it goes.
a few non stim appetite supressants are hoodia, raspberry ketons, etc.
here are some producs

you can also control appetite by the food you eat, order of food you eat, and how fast you eat/chew your food.

Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
Any recent updates with this Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock? I am curious how it is going.

Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
*sigh* No updates. Unfortunately our friend is quite the flake, so I think he forgot about it. I didn't lose any weight for the 1-2 weeks I was on it. But, I wasn't taking a full dosage. I haven't really thought about what I'm going to try next.

If you have not lost any weight in 2 weeks thats a diet issue, no supp is going to make up for that. If you post your current diet im sure we could help you out.

I agree. You must be doing something wrong with your dieting. Supplements are just there to "supplement" what you are already doing. They can't do all of the work for you.
Like jansen said, post up your current eating schedule and I am sure we all can chime in and help you get some changes made and help you out.

Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
For sure my diet could be better. I thought I would lose something on Cellucor since I wasn't eating that much. Meh, whatever.
In the morning I have cereal with 2% fat milk. I normally eat Special K with Strawberries, or Rasin Bran Crunch. This is around 9:00am
After that, I try to eat every 3 hours, small things. This is what I normally choose from: Peanutbutter & Jelly, eggs (boiled or cooked, whatever I have), fiber muffins (They're Fiber One brand, when I make them I also put in two scoops of protein mix in them so they're quite filling), Kashi Go Lean Bars, Weight Loss Shake (kirkland brand) or cottage cheese with honey. If I still feel hungry, I'll drink water til I don't feel hungry anymore. This is around 12:00pm, then 3:00pm.
I go the the gym around 5:30pm-6:00pm. Take my water bottle with me, I'll drink the whole thing.
We get home around 7:30pm, 8:00pm if my BF talks alot. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have a protein shake right after. Tuesday and Thursday I don't.
I'll cook dinner, which is typically healthy and low in calories. But I eat late, around 9:00pm. I try to pick quick meals, or I prep them ahead of time. Sometimes I'll forget one thing and cooking a meal will take longer than expected.
Then I go to bed around 11:00pm. Thanks for offering to help, I appreciate it. I'm pretty stubborn and competitive. One of my "friends" is trying to shove this "magic diet" down my throat, the more she does it the more I want her diet to fail, lol. It's a diet put together by this trainer named Tad Inoue. He seems legit, but she's not being consulted by him. It's by someone else who is paying him to train her.

Cerel in the morning is fine, just some are alot more calorie dense (high in sugar) then others. I would loose the Raisin bran crunch. some good cereal options are: Kashi go lean (no crunch), cheerios (any kind). watch the serving size too. 2% milk is fine also just higher in cals, if you can stand ff or 1% it would save cals. they also make skim supreme which taste like 2% but is fat free. also, add some protein like eggs, cottage cheese, etc

I personally would loose the pb and J and the weight loss shakes (I think there garbage). the other options sound ok. I would replace the honey in the cottage cheese with fresh fruit. Also, you can get some good MRP powder online for not alot of $ and would be cheaper then the kirkland shakes. string cheese, beef jerky, low sugar yogurt are also good choices. pre workout you want protein and carbs. your muffins sound good, also maybe cottage cheese and an apple, grapefruit, or banana. maybe a lowfat turkey or tuna sandwich.

dinner should be a protein source like chicken, fish, lean red meat and green veggies. a small amount of fat is ok here like evoo or avocado

Re: Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock
Awesome. I'm going to write up a diet like that and hang it where I can see it at all times. Recently I've been staying away from PB&J because it is a bunch of calories, and (I feel) is a bunch of empty calories. Cottage cheese with honey is a little bit of a cheat... It's so good! I'll pick up some fruit though.
Thanks so much!
