 I've been feeding live for over 5 years to the majority of my collection - well over 13K live feedings. Never had more than a insignificant scratch.

This forum advocates each owner deciding which method works best for them and their animals - whether that be live, pre-killed or f/t.

For me, live is very low risk.

I have had one incident feeding live.....and it did not even leave a mark. My snakes prefer live and quite frankly so do I. I would however suggest feeding in the cage as it is less a hassle for you AND (this is the big reason) your snake will not get stressed therefore you will have a better feeding response. Bottom line they just feel less vunerable and more comfortable in their own place.
