I would kill to have that diet. Seriously. Although... I love my cereal. But, at least I do good and eat Special K with Strawberries.
#1: Snickers... My mom would bring me them when she used to bartend. I eat them in layers :)
#2: 100 Grand bars. Yummy.
#3: Jelly Beans!
#4: Skor Bars. My mom used to hide them, so it always felt special when I was able to have them!
#5: Reeses Peanut Butter cups, I'll eat those in layers as well.

Dark M&M's. Those things are like legal crack.
I dont really like cereal either, I buy cocoa puffs to eat mostly as dry snacks. I do like chocolate, strong chocolate. I dont like flavored milk either, unless coffee counts :)

Re: Seru Talks Candy
Starburst sour jellybeans
Lindt extra creamy milk choclate bars
Cadbury eggs
Reeses cups
Hershey's hugs or cherry kisses.
I'm a big chocolate fan, but I've gotten into the smooth milk chocolates, not hershey bars. I don't usually like hard things, especially in my candy. I'm a massive sugar eater though. Probably why I'm overweight. I've cut my soda waaay back though, to about one soda a week or less. Normally it's iced sweet tea, and crangrape juice as my mainstays.. with Tang or coolaid type drinks the rest of the time.

Re: Seru Talks Candy
Now this is a thread I like :)
I'm a candy lover with an insatiable sweet tooth.
One of my favorite places is a souvenir shop called the Alaska Wildberry Company. They specialize in chocolates with berry jelly centers.
They even have their own true-to-life chocolate waterfall.

In winter of 08/09, I spent some time learning to make homemade candies. I did chocolates, truffles, taffy, and hard candies. I want to get a good recipe for starbursts-texture candies, chewy but harder than taffies. I could even go all the way and hard-coat them like skittles.
Making hard candies is my favorite. Because it was winter time, we did pulled-candy, the traditional technique of ribbon-candy and candycanes. It's also the same technique for the candy that makes up the outer shell of tootsie pops, and is how the tootsie pop coating gets its unique textured look.
We're lucky to have a cake shop that also carries various oil flavors that I can use in my candy making.
I actually haven't made any recently, but this thread has inspired me to perhaps make up a batch this weekend.

Re: Seru Talks Candy
1. Reese's peanut butter cups "Big Cup"
2. Watchamacallit
3. Chocolate truffles (any candy shop has them).
4. Caramello
5. Marathon Bar *
*This is NOT the modern Snickers Marathon. This candy is, sadly, discontinued and will never be seen again. It was a long braid of thick, chewy caramel covered in chocolate. The chocolate coating would crumble and fall off messily as you stretched the caramel while you ate it. It was awesome.

Not to take you back to the sinus thing, but, I have had two sinus surgerys already. You will be just fine. The make you sign the disclaimer for legal reason but the procedure is pretty safe all around. It's not to painful and the healing is pretty quick. Just tell them you are nervous before the surgery and they will give you a bit of medicine to help you.;) Hope all goes well and keep us posted.

Aside from having the worst sore throat I have ever had and a huge desire I can't fufill to blow my nose I'm okay. I'm mostly eating cheese grits, yogurt, and mashed potatos to soothe my throat.
But the surgery went smooth, they removed a cyst and a polyp. And I've mostly been in bed watching looney tunes and passing out now and then cause the pain pills are effective.
thanks for the concern :)
