I never claim to know what someting will look like, but in my mind, it won't be a very amazing cross. Here is the reason. The white on Calicos is generally situated near the belly on the sides of the snake. Saddles on a Pied are normally situated on the dorsum and higher portion of the sides. With that said, I think that the Calico Pied would look like a normal Pied, with some brighter coloring in the saddles. Now, if the cross ends up on a 10% or less Pied ( the ones that have pattern all the way down the side), then you may be able to get some white in the pattern. On the other hand, with the white on a Calico in the same place as the white on a Spider, the white may be dominant and you may end up with an all white snake with a brightly colored head.

    Those are just my opinions,

I think it would be pretty cool because a lot of pieds already have a tendency towards high color saddles with tons of orange ANYWAY; and some calico lines when combined with other morphs produce some pretty wacky colors.

I while back someone on kingsnake classifieds had a "wanted" ad for one. I contacted him and he said they do exist, but I have yet to see any pics. I also contacted Ralph Davis a few years back and he didn't think they existed then, but thought they would be "kick ass"!

I've wondered myself. Only other thread I could find with any "helpful" info was someone who hatched het pieds and everyone was twisted.

i wish a Calico (or Sugar) Pied would have the white flecks they are known for in their pattern. i'm afraid however it's pattern/white flecks would not be retain much like a G-Stripe or Clown Pied doesn't have much of it's non-Pied pattern. but then again, i've never seen one.
