    I agree. Three days is not that long, and the symptoms are not exactly clear. Let the snake settle in.
    Sometimes I am paranoid about a new snakes health myself, but just give it some time.

    Ya just starting into this .. I've been reading a lot and I feel like with more knowledge, you get a little more worried at every little sign you see.

    The only reason I was expecting this to happen is that the tank I picked him up from had 3 balls in it and 1 of them were taken out due to a RI .. so the chances of him being infected are pretty high.

    However, thanks for all the replies. I've always felt that as humans we don't really need medication and we will eventually fight through our simple sicknesses like fevers and colds. For snakes, I can't say I know much. Every thread I read about respiratory infections have had comments about going to the vet as the only option. It'd be cool to hear some more stories about balls that have gotten over Respiratory infections by just good care and time.
