IM tired of the Apple and Ipod

I'm ditching my iPod! But not getting a zune or anything else :)
I am in the process of transferring all my tunes from iTunes to my cell phone (Moto Droid), it sounds better and I always have it with me anyway.
Of course, it's turning into an event as I just got a new laptop yesterday so I could burn my purchased music and get the stupid drm junk off. I'm still trying to figure the best way to go about that and what to load my tunes to on the new laptop...iTunes again or just use Windows Media...or perhaps something else entirely. I'll be at this for weeks. LOL

I have a Zune, and will never get another one. I've only had it for three years, and the gosh darn thing won't even turn on anymore. I'm gonna try an ipod.

yeah. idk. i dont know of any other brands but my first ipod nano is still working for me. Shoot, it works fine right now except sometimes it doesnt want to turn off. Besides that its pretty great, and its gone through the washer before and been dropped a ton of times, and its like about 3 years old i think...

I also have a 8gb ipod touch which is pretty good, ive never had any problems with it so far and ive had it for a year. The only bad thing is itunes always wants to sync my library when i plug it in and thats annoying, but you can just cancel it, or probably turn of auto sync but i dont care enough to find out how.

after restorting 3 times and DELEATING ALL MY MUSIC, the thing syncs, yes under warenty, but i hate going through the motions, if this happens again, im sending back, they send me a new, one and its going on ebay as new, all of its crap.. but why make a perfect product, casue they wont sell anymore, i have a 1 gig, first namo, looks like stick of gum, thats the only one W/O any problem
