Sounds tasty, but bakery products aside, I always thought that PITA was short for 'Pain In The Arse' Which, come to think of it, describes Peta pretty well too. Careful though, you might get a nasty letter from them telling you that gyros are an endangered species and you shouldn't be eating their meat.

Pen & Teller did a wonderful stint on PETA. While I didnt agree with everything they said, there was a good bit of blatant truth I wish more people would realize.
I don't think it was PETAs head that is on insulin, I think its one of her generals, Id have to look again, though I agree with your point. She has the gall to say shes not being a hypocrite because she needs her life to fight for the animals. Though Ingrid Newkirk has said when she dies she wants to BBQd on a st corner and offered to pedestrians. Thats a wonderful new kina crazy

They take some bad photos/videos of animals.. and then they blame the entire pet trade. So why don't I go to the grocery store.. photograph some rotten tomatoes, and blame the grocery industry!

PETA is a bunch of hypocricy. If they truly embraced the idea that humans and animals are equals, they would go out and live naked and weaponless in the wilderness, instead of in their concrete condos that were built on former wilderness land. lol

I'm all for vegetarianism, veganism, improving conditions and treatment of factory farmed animals, etc, but PETA takes it a bit too far. Many people that I have talked to on Vegetarianism forums support the idea of no companion pets and even more are against keeping exotics.

So sad though, what does cause those snakes to thrash around like that. Are they just dying from malnutrition?
