Re: More shedding help please.
Okay. I'll go and get one of those. But it's gonna have to wait until my birthday when I get the cash. ^^;; My main concern is feeding her, and getting her fecal sample to the vet. But my birthday isn't to far off, and I might be able to get it earlier then I think. I assume the accurrite would be in the hardware section? (it's sad, I work at walmart, and don't know where it would be. haha)

Why are you getting a fecal done? Do you suspect she has parasites? If not, get the accurite instead, that is more crucial then a fecal.
Re: More shedding help please.
I did it to put my mind at ease. Also the vet said I should have it does just to make sure she didn't have any internal parasites. Also I need to put my mind at ease, I'm one of those people who stresses about every little thing when it comes to a new animal.

Sorry but if you do it to put your mind at ease and your using a dial humidity gage and its reading 80% and ur snake is having a bad shed obviously its wrong. So if your using a dial humidity gage i assume your using a dial thermometer or none at all? Which brings me to ask what are your temps? How are you measuring your temp?
This would not ease my mind knowing my snake could be sitting in a tub/tank with 30% humidity and extremely hot temperatures.
Hey but thats just me. Figured it would ease your mind knowing your snake has right husbandry over a fecal examination
Re: More shedding help please.
I think proper temps and humidity should come before a fecal examination. A bad shed can lead to just as many problems as internal parasites.
While getting a fecal done is a good idea, your priority should be getting your husbandry perfect, not testing for parasites that will most likely not be present.
