    Im not really sure if they still do it but in the old days pressure treated lumber contained CCA (chromated copper arsenate) A chemical commonly found in rat poisoning. Amongst other harmful chemicals, Hopefully for our benefit they dont use it anymore but im not really sure. Its cool, I probably should of said pressure treated lumber.

    Pressure treated wood is very bad for humans and insects I'd assume reptiles too. I also know MDF has quite a lot of formaldehyde, or at least some does. I would be very careful and seal it up very carefully.
