    Well sometimes you need to pull the skin off, as long as its not completely dry, it wont hurt the snake. Also as long as you go with the scales and not against them, don't worry about peeling the shed off.

    Sounds like the hygrometer is broken, the Fluckers one i spend an outrageous $25 on doesn't measure humidity correctly so i bought an accurite and now i know exactly what it is. So sometimes high priced or supposedly high quality thermometers can fail sometimes.

    I bought a BP with a bad retained head shed. Next time he shed, it was perfect except for a strip down the top of his head. Found out it was cause he still had some stuck shed right on the tip of his snout. I removed that, and his next shed was perfect.
