Re: Hi ^_^
Welcome
I'm relatively new here and raised hamsters as a kid. Our last 2 pets were hamsters but they don't live very long. I think they are cute & cuddly. With little to no tail I do not put them in the same category as mice, rats & gerbils which to me are snake food.

:welcome: to BP.net... As far as finding a KSB, you have some options. You can order online and have it shipped to you. A good place to start is the classifieds section at Kingsnake.com and the sand boa section at FaunaClassifieds.com. Alot of breeders and sellers advertise their availabilities there. If you prefer to see and interact with the animal before buying it, you might get lucky and find a local breeder, or look for a good pet store. The most fun option is to go to reptile shows. At Kingsnake.com, right in the middle of the first page, is a list of just about all of the scheduled shows for about the next year. I think think Phoenix already had their show. I didn't see it listed. The only ones I saw even close to Flagstaff are San Diego June 26-27, Tucson Sept 25-26, and Las Vegas Oct 16-17. Good luck and happy herp hunting...
