As for Carefresh, I wouldn't consider switching over. Aspen bedding is just fine to use. Carefresh is much more expensive. I get big bags of aspen bedding for $4 in the rodent section in Petsmart. Carefresh is normally about $15. And Carefresh does cause RIs, from what I was told.
