Well at least he had someone caring for and fighting for him in the end. Now you need to go and smack the Shhhhhh. out of your ex. for letting him get so bad!

Aww, Rita. I'm so sorry to hear. I'm sure that he is much more comfortable now, and you did the best you could. And you cared about him. You both will be in my thoughts.

At least someone loved him and cared for him in the end.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. If you need someone to beat up your ex for you in behalf of Monty, I'd be happy to volunteer.

This is meant for our 4 legged pets, but I think it could pertain to our reptile friends too.

    God bless!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I'm so sorry for your loss, some people can be so careless for their pets. I'm glad that you were there to take the snake into your care in the end, it really does show how much of a caring person you are to actually do something like that.

Most people wouldn't take a sick snake into their care and give out their full effort to help the snake.

I would love to thank you for doing so, you have a big heart!

It is the will of God and Nature that these mortal bodies be laid aside, when the soul is to enter into real life; 'tis rather an embrio state, a preparation for living; a man is not completely born until he be dead: Why then should we grieve that a new child is born among the immortals? ~Benjamin Franklin, 22 February 1756

    My deepest condolences

BG is curious what exactly the Vet was treating your snake with. BG is not blaming the Vet of anything, he just wants to know what kind of treatment your snake was receiving.

Sorry to hear about Monty. I hope he had a good life. It sounds like you done everything you could do, I wish everyone cared that much for their snakes. :(
