    That is where the thermometer probe goes, not the thermostat probe.

    Put the thermometer probe on the inside right on the surface where the UTH is and put the thermostat probe on the outside of the UTH.

    Also,

    No tape unless it is low tack painters tape. :colbert:

    Better options would be a glue gun (best ) or simply using something heavy to hold it down. :gj:
