Got the JOB!! And you'll never guess where...

Thanks to all so far for the kind words. :) I hope I'll get enough pay and hours to start saving up for moving expenses.

Cool. :) I'll be doing basic customer service - directing people at the gates, occasional cashier duty, running the carousel, and other service jobs as needed. It's a start, and the boss is awesome.

Happy you have finally got some work which is hard to find up here these days

:) It's not a drive...since I don't. It IS, however, a 2 hour commute via bus/train on weekdays. I will be getting a monthly pass for May that will save a LOT of money on transport, but I'm just not sure what to do for the rest of April. I have two weeks left where I'll be going in 5 days a week...and it's around $10 a day round trip to get there. And I only have enough money right now for the May pass. :( Things will pick up once I get my first paycheck, of course, but I'm nervous about the intervening time.

Ah well... I did have fun yesterday at my first day. :D
