    Siamese rats often lose the dark color on their rump. Or butt. Just above the tail. Siamese rats look awesome as babies but some will turn all white as they mature. If a siamese keeps the dark points on its nose, ears and rump its considered a higher quality and likely to pass on the color holding to its babies. One of my siamese lost her rump color. The dark ears also faded. The other siamese is a year old and retained all her color points. Thats a good thing when trying to make more siamese.
