Use a strong bleach solution, soak everything you can for at least 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. If a mild bleach smell remains, you can re-rinse the items and let them set in the sun to dry and that should take care of the smell. Wipe everything you cannot soak with anti-bacterial wipes, twice.
Try to remember, you gave that poor snake every chance you could, and it is not your fault that it didn't survive, it is the fault of the moron who abused it. Take your time and find a respectable breeder near you, and you'll be well rewarded with a loving pet to help heal your heart.
Best of wishes to you,

I'm so sorry. Even though you only had her a short time, it still hurts like you've known her a life time. Like another member said, her last days with you were peaceful and safe. I'm sorry you are going though this.

I am so so sorry to hear that...it is truly heartbreaking when any pet dies...even if it was a new one.
I would venture to guess that this snake had allot of internal things going on as well...the dehydration could of caused damage to internal organs and who knows what type of parasites it had.
Again I am so sorry!!

So sorry to hear that. From your description my guess would be dehydration, but like others had said, you never know without a necropsy. Disenfect, grieve, and try a respected source. Good luck.
