Re: Reviews on Racks from Reptile basics?
I have a CB70 rack and I love it. It is light and easy to move if you want to. You can stack them....nice plug and play....love the bins themselves. Plus as someone else said...Rich is awesome!!

In the back heated model you have to mess with thermostat probe a bit to get it right(you can't put the probe right on the tape, you have to tape it a little bit off next to it) but I finally got it so that the ambient temperature in the back of the bin was 81 and the front of the tank is at about 77.
The back heated works fine, I just don't like seeing my bp's cramming themselves up against the back of the bin for extra heat.
77-81? Isn't that to cold?
thanks for the reviews everybody. I am gonna call rich and ask some questions. If It's true that I can create an 80-92 variance without having to heat both sides I will be sold.
EDIT: I was also considering boaphile? Any reason not to go with them?
Re: Reviews on Racks from Reptile basics?
I get all my racks from Rich. He is a great guy and he makes excellent racks. They do provide a a nice thermocline in the tubs as long as your room isn't to cold. I keep my room around 70-75 and set my hot spots to 91-92 and the cool end is around 78-80 which is great. Never had any issues with RBI racks actually just picked up 4 more at the last white plains show. I only use back heat with my hatchling racks all the others have belly heat. Rich will help you with any questions or cocerns you have. The only thing I wish was that they had wheels but can't have everything lol. A bonus to is if you attend a show he vends at you can pick it up there at discounted price or add additonal level.

I have 6 of the 32-quart sweaterbox racks. For the most part, I like them. I wish they didn't have the 10 watt/foot heat tape, it gets too hot in my opinion. I also like/dislike the fact they are shipped assembled: it's nice for convenience, but they do get banged up in the shipping. Rich has excellent customer service.
