You think double UTH's are the way to go? I was worried that cyprus + water bowl over a UTH would = to mcuh humidity. I like UTH's more than lights though because I fear lights as a fire hazard.
I asked an employee and he called around for me. all they had at lowe's were these automated 1 touch dimmers that didn't have a slide control. they had alot was wall units but no lamp dimmer like we use for reptiles in a pinch.
I'll go way downtown tomorrow and check the big home depot and the big petsmart.
Poor Dear, I went down to check temps and spot clean my first present. And as I was trying to even out some substrate I lifted up a hide I didn't think she was under on the cold spot and there she was looking annoyed as hell that she had been interrupted again.
She's gonna get sick of me by the time I try and offer her an f/t hopper tomorrow.
I appreciate the encouragement. I am pretty stressed. I want to do right by her. She's a docile pretty girl.

Just put the water dish in the middle of the tank between the UTHs. If humidity is too high, use a smaller water bowl, or dry out the cypress mulch a little bit more. It is much easier to get rid of humidity than it is to get more humidity.

Will do I'll post an update tomorrow and let Opera alone for the rest of the night until I do morning temp checks and thaw out her meal. Poor thing balled up nice and high after I popped up her hide by accident and I tried to get it down on top of her but she wanted to wear the clay pot as a hat. Breeder said he fed her every sunday and he thought it was alright if I continued her routine.
I did some measuring and the substrate is only a quarter of an inch in most places, to just over a half in the highest.
